This program offers fun and bonding for babies (0-24 months) and their grown-ups! Join us for bouncing, reading, and singing during this half hour program in the library children’s program room. Caregivers with children ages 2.5 – 5 are invited to share books, rhymes and an activity each week in the library program room! Early literacy information will be available to take home. These tips will help caregivers share books and daily activities with children in ways that help them prepare for school.
Marking 160 years since the April 9th surrender at Appomattox, the band Sean Fir will present a selection of songs from the Civil War era. Songs from the North and South will be performed along with brief remarks on the historical contents of each. All are welcomed and singing along is encouraged!
