Each person that signs up will write a letter (using stationary provided by the library) to someone else anonymously about a book they recommend and why. This program offers fun and bonding for babies (0-24 months) and their grown-ups! Join us for bouncing, reading, and singing during this half hour program in the library children’s program room. Parents and caregivers will practice ways to interact with babies to support talking and pre-reading skills. Each week, we’ll share songs and rhymes to develop language skills and sense of rhythm. We will also share a board book together ... Read More
Parents and caregivers with children ages 2 1/5 – 5 years old are invited to share books, rhymes and an activity each week! We will meet in the library children’s program room. Early literacy information will be available to take home. These tips will help adults share books and daily activities with children in ways that help them prepare for school.
