Calling all book readers to come in at any point during the day to sign up to become a book pen pal. We will be collecting names starting September 9th. This program offers fun and bonding for babies (0-24 months) and their grown-ups! Join us for bouncing, reading, and singing during this half hour program in the library children’s program room. Parents and caregivers will practice ways to interact with babies to support talking and pre-reading skills. Each week, we’ll share songs and rhymes to develop language skills and sense of rhythm. We will also share a board book together ... Read More
Parents and caregivers with children ages 2 1/5 – 5 years old are invited to share books, rhymes and an activity each week! We will meet in the library children’s program room. Early literacy information will be available to take home. These tips will help adults share books and daily activities with children in ways that help them prepare for school.

This event will be 3pm to 5pm Cumberland on Friday October 11th Join us for our 3-day fall festival filled with fun activities suitable for all ages. There will be light snacks, free books, crafts, photo booth and more. The event will end with a showing of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". Feel free to wear costumes, but they are not mandatory.
