Every Tuesday from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. & Every Wednesday from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Have you ever wanted to learn how to knit but didn’t know how to get started? Join us at the Farmville Library for an informal knitting group! Basic materials will be provided. All levels welcome! *This program is for adults*
This program offers fun and bonding for babies (0-24 months) and their grown-ups! Join us for bouncing, reading, and singing during this half hour program in the library children’s program room. Parents and caregivers will practice ways to interact with babies to support talking and pre-reading skills. Each week, we’ll share songs and rhymes to develop language skills and sense of rhythm. Join us at the Farmville library to meet local author, Katherine Cobb, of Farmville, VA! She will be discussing her books Little Wife Lies, The Self-Loathing Project, and Weeza’s Great Escape. Katherine will do a reading followed by a discussion with the audience. The Local Author Talk series is a library partnership with the Friends of the Barbara Rose Johns Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library.
