We are excited to announce the Jane Austen 250th Birthday Celebration on December 13 at the Farmville Library!

This free event will celebrate the time period of Jane Austen and include a birthday cake, basket raffle, games, and a special afternoon tea. The birthday celebration is 10:30am – 4pm and is open to people of all ages but the afternoon tea is limited to 24 adults (ages 18 and up) and will be from 1 – 3:30pm.

*If you would like to attend the afternoon tea, please call the library at (434)392-6924. Seats will be reserved on a first-call-first-reserved basis. Because of the limited seats, each individual must register separately.

10:30- Opening remarks, cake cutting, beverages, raffle baskets

11:30-12:15- Trivia, board games

1:15-3:30- Tea Vicky Page
