StoryWalk
Are you looking for a new outdoor family activity? Go for a walk and try out our new StoryWalk® program in downtown Farmville! StoryWalk® begins March 12.
What is a StoryWalk®?
A StoryWalk® is an activity that encourages families to get outside to walk together and share a book. This is self-paced, so the StoryWalk® can be done any time that is convenient for your family, and as many times as you’d like!
Participating businesses in downtown Farmville will display pages from the book in their storefront windows. The StoryWalk® will be available from March 12 – April 30.
Join us for the StoryWalk® Launch Event!

Come celebrate the launch of our StoryWalk® with us!
Walk through downtown Farmville with your family to read pages from the picture book Pokko and the Drum by Matthew Forsythe in storefronts.
Stop by our table at Main Street Plaza and enter to win a copy of the book to take home, pick up extension activities, and more!
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
