Baby Storytime (FV)
1303 W. 3rd Street
This storytime will be OUTDOORS. We will be following current social distancing and mask-wearing guidelines at all programs.
This summer, storytimes will be outside. A space will be marked off for each family to be socially distanced and you are welcome to bring a blanket to sit on. Canopies will be up to provide some shade. If it is raining the morning of a storytime, we will not have storytime until the next week.
This program offers fun and bonding for babies (0-24 months) with a parent or other adult!
Adults will practice ways to interact with babies to support talking and pre-reading skills. Everyone will have fun bouncing, reading, and cuddling during this half hour program in the library’s children’s room.
Each week, we’ll practice songs and rhymes to develop language skills and sense of rhythm. We will also share a board book together and have a brief play time (for babies) and social time (for adults).
