Afternoon Activity (FV) @ Farmville Library

Kids ages 6 and older are invited to stop in for a fun program every Wednesday afternoon. We have Lego® Club twice a month, plus other games and crafts the other weeks.

These programs are drop-in, so there’s no pressure to arrive right at 3:30 or stay until 5:00 p.m.

February 2019 Activities:

February 6: Lego® Club

February 13: High Bridge Trail State Park presents a Valentine-themed wildlife program

February 20: Explore the water cycle with High Bridge Trail State Park

February 27: Minute-to-Win-It games to test  your teamwork and speed!



January 2019 Activities:

January 9: Lego Club

January 16: Let It Snow! A High Bridge State Park ranger will share hands-on snow fun and experiments

January 23: Lego Club

January 30: Ozobot in its Habitat—learn about animal adaptations and needs, then code Ozobot to reach its ideal habitat (best for ages 8+)


December Activities:

December 12: Make a pinecone bird feeder to keep wildlife fed this winter

December 19: Lego Club


November Activities:

November 7: Lego Club

November 14: Play against other kids on our Nintendo Switch

November 21: Lego Club

November 28: Create new artwork to decorate the children’s area


October Activities:

October 3: Lego Club

October 10: Build a Popsicle stick catapult and experiment to get the farthest launch!

October 17: Lego Club

October 24: Create a Jack o’Lantern from strips of paper

October 31: Join us at the Downtown Plaza from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. for Pumpkins on the Plaza. High Bridge Trail State Park presents this awesome family event featuring pumpkins, crafts, games, and more!


September Activities:

September 5: Build with our bricks during Lego Club

September 12: Create fantastic a Story Cube set to make up fun stories

September 19: Lego Club

September 26: Assemble your own Dancing Scarecrow craft to take home
