Afternoon Activity (B) @ Buckingham Library

Kids ages 6 and older are invited to stop in for a fun program every Thursday afternoon. We have Lego® Club twice a month, plus other games and crafts.

These programs are drop-in, so there’s no pressure to arrive right at 3:30 or stay until 5:00 p.m.

February 28: Minute-to-Win-It games to test your teamwork and speed!

January 17: Try making some homemade “snow” to finger paint with

January 24: Lego Club

January 31: Ozobot in its Habitat—learn about animal adaptations and needs, then code Ozobot to reach its ideal habitat (best for 8+)

 

December Activities:

December 13: Make a pinecone bird feeder to feed the wildlife this winter

November Activities:

November 1: Lego Club

November 8: Play against other kids on our Nintendo Switch

November 15: Lego Club

November 22: Closed for Thanksgiving

November 29: Create artwork to decorate the children’s area

 

October Activities:

October 4: Lego Club

October 11: Bear Creek Lake State Park will share a reptile program with us. They’re also bringing a LIVE snake!

October 18: Lego Club

October 25: Create a Jack o’Lantern from strips of paper

 

September Activities:

September 6: Build with our bricks during Lego Club

September 13: Create fantastic a Story Cube set to make up fun stories

September 20: Lego Club

September 27: Assemble your own Dancing Scarecrow craft to take home
